Each week my buddy Tiffany over at Zeal For A Deal puts together a list of items that you can get for around $3. Isn’t it amazing to think that $3 a week can provide a big bag of groceries to a church pantry or food bank and barely impact your budget!!
For about $150 a year you can provide over $750 worth of food to someone in need following Tiffany’s Change for a Change deals. I know many of you are looking to budget for the new year…so you might think about what $3 per week will mean for you and for others. What an awesome for even those on a tight budget to share with others!
I was able to buy 12 boxes of Mueller’s pasta,4 boxes of Ritz crackers, 3 boxes of Minute Rice, 3 bags of long grain rice, 2 bags Gold Medal flour, 2 quarts of Wesson oil and 2 containers of Ocean Spray Blueberry juice for $15.27 for our church’s food ministry. Had lots of coupons and used BOGO and my Wednesday Senior Discount.
