Most all of us have a story how breast cancer has touched our lives.  Whether it be a friend, a family member or a personal experience… each of us have a story to tell.  Sadly, some stories speak of tragedy and loss.  Others will have a story of courage and some stories will speak of triumph over a terrible disease that affects one in four women.
I have watched several very brave women fight through sickness, hair loss, exhaustion and a full range of emotions in their battle with breast cancer. Each of these woman fought with all of their might and I am happy to report each are on the long list of survivors.
I will never forget a conversation with my dear friend who in the midst of very harsh treatments still made a point to come to playdates and lunch groups.  She told me how she not only fought for her life but that she fought to ensure that her son would have a mommy to tuck him in every night.  Having two small boys this really made me realize the impact that this disease has on so many–those impacted directly and indirectly!
Pepperidge Farm have teamed up in support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure during the month of October. They are asking people to share their Milano Moments–those special moments that you steal for yourself or share with a close friend and truly enjoy. (Just like when you savor a Milano cookie!)
Right now, when you share a Milano Moment, you help the fight against breast cancer. For every Milano Moment shared on Milano’s Facebook Page in October, Pepperidge Farm will donate 50¢ to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  It only takes a second of your time and each donation can make a difference!!
While you are on the Milano’s Facebook page, you can also print a coupon for $0.55/1 Pepperidge Farm Milano Cookies.
