When a sale goes on the an item that you are going to stockpile on, about how many of that item do you purchase?
This week at Publix, I was going to use the publix coupon for “buy a shick razor, get free skintimate shave gel”. I had a manufacturer coupon for $2 off Schick Razor, and also a coupon for $.75 off skintimate shave gel. Would this mean I would get the shave gel free plus $.75 off, or since it’s free, they don’t allow you to use the coupon?
you should be able to use the coupon but if you are just going for htose 2 items it might be harder to use, throw them in with your regular shopping, you might want to go today i think the green adv flyer ends today.
What’s the best reaction you’ve had from a cashier? Do you have cashiers you prefer? I have 2 cashiers I truly prefer because they are so great about my coupons, and I love how much fun they have seeing what I save!
Do you ever purchase coupons of hot items? What are some reliable sources?
This may be a dumb question but, Have you found that you eat healthier since you do your couponing or do you eat more of the all ready prepared instant meals? I feel like if a person is not careful, all this extra food in our pantries could be bad for us!! Sometimes it seems hard to find the healthier food on sale.
How are you able to get the Publix ad in advance? Does Pubix support what you do for us?
I’ve been wondering this as well and have seen it asked several times, but I don’t think it has been answered. I used to use another site, but they were legally forced to shut down because they were showing the ad earlier than allowed (and I know Jenny at SouthernSavers is extremely particular about not posting grocery ads until she is allowed to do so, ie, Tuesday night (usually around 10!) for Publix).
I for one am Glad that she does. I get to make my list on Monday and have plenty of time to decide and gather coupons for the sale! It is a blessing!
so my newspaper lady told me one sunday she always had tons of extra inserts and that she would be happy to give me some, she gave me a magnet with her cell on it, just wondering if anyone else has had this happen? is it legal? or was she being sketchy? it was after our second week of having sunday delivered and she had to come by the house at 5 pm b/c she never threw our paper… what do you all think?
