Greta over at Friend Family Fun emailed me about a new program called RecycleBank. This is a cool new program that rewards you with points for positive green actions –things like curbside recycling and electronics recycling. The best part is that you can turn in your points for some pretty cool rewards. Greta said she was able to snag two $5 off $50 coupons to use at Publix. Either those rewards are gone or it may be zip code based as I did not see them after I signed up and searched. BUT–I did score ten $1/1 Coca Cola coupons that will be mailed to me in 5 to 7 days!!
It is super easy to sign up and you get 100 points just for registering…so you might want to go HERE and sign up to see if any of the rewards appeal to you! There is also a ton of great info on the site on how to become greener!

I just ordered a Publix $5/$50 and 5 $1/1 any Coke q’s! I hope the Coke q’s get here in time for the Coke deal at CVS next week! So the rewards must be area specific.

It won’t let me register 🙁 It says the USPS doesn’t recognize my address; that’s odd. I’m in central FL.
It let me register, but says my address isn’t valid. I guess that means for the curbside recycling points. There are also no redemption points available right now, at least for my area. Does anyone know if there is a way to “unregister” from the website?

This is an awesome deal! It only takes a few minutes to register and then you can use your 100 points to browse through a listing of coupons….I picked up 2 $5 of $50 at publix coupons!
Lisa, I’m in Tampa and It would not let me registar on my home computer. I tried my laptop and it worked. The address issue never came up. It let me registar myself and my daughter (she lives at a different address) both on the same computer. If you don’t have access to a different computer maybe you can use a friend’s to registar.
I was able to order two $5/50 publix coupons also.
Just got my 2 $5/$50 coupons good through 01/31/10 – yeehaw!
Luwina – go to the Rewards tab at the top, then click on the Grocery & Food category in the left column to find the Publix coupons.
Make sure you login after you register and get the confirmation email – this will activate your account and give you the 100 points.
